Frequently Asked Questions

Are online prices the same as in a branch?

Yes, prices of products on the website match the branch price.

Can I get a VAT receipt?

Each order is shipped with a sales receipt including VAT information.

Can I use the website to reserve items at my local branch?

Sorry, this facility is currently not available on our website, but you can send an email to sales@championtimber.com with you request and then we will contact you to ensure the goods will be ready for you.

Can my order be delivered to an alternative address?

Online orders can be delivered to an alternative address. Telephone orders can be delivered to an alternative address upon passing the relevant security checks.

Do the prices shown include VAT?

Yes all our prices shown include VAT.

Do you delivery for free?

If you order is within our designated area, and is over £25 inc Vat in value then we will deliver it for FREE.

For all other areas we will be very happy to quote for delivery, so please proceed to fill your shopping cart. On checkout, when your postcode is entered, it will automatically request a quote from us, which we will give you either by email or phone within one working day.

The delivery timescale for each item is shown on the product page. Stock items are available within 2 days, for other non stocked items delivery timescales do vary. But we have shown the “worst” case, so in most cases we will aim to deliver it sooner.

If you do have a specific day you would like your products delivered, then please ensure you put this in the comments box upon checking out.

To confirm we deliver free to any post code beginning with BR, CR, DA, EC, GU, KT, RH, SE, SM, SW, TW and WC

Selected post codes we also deliver to for free are E1, E1W, E14, E77, E98, N1, N4-N7, N16, N19, NW1-NW6, NW8-NW11, SL4-SL5, TN1-TN4, TN7-TN11, TN13-TN16, W1-W14, W1A-W1W

PLEASE NOTE our delivery service is to kerbside only. Due to insurance guidelines, our drivers are unable to enter private residences. The recipient of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made, and for heavy and bulky items we would require additional support from the customer with the delivery.

Do you offer a discount to trade?

Champion values bona fide Trade customers and offers discounts if registered as a Trade customer. These prices are only available in our branches, but you can use the website to place a quote, which we will respond to within 24 hours with your trade pricing on it.

How is my information secured when using the Champion website?

The Champion website uses SagePay as our payment service provider (PSP), thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to SagePay. It's our top priority to ensure that your customers' transaction data is kept secure at all times, which is why we comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) meeting the standard as a Level 1 PCI DSS compliant Payment Service Provider

I can't see the size of door I require, do Champion offer other sizes?

Champion offer doors in the most popular sizes - and most doors can be trimmed by a small amount during fitting. If you require different sizes please contact any branch and we will be pleased to help you.

If I have a question regarding a product before I order, who can I contact?

Is the full range of products that Champion sell available online?

There are currently over 2000 products available to order online, which represents our main sellers, but we sell over 10000 products, so if you do not see what you want online then please call any branch. In order to protect minors and ensure we comply with relevant legislation, we do not sell age-restricted products online. We do not specify which of our products are age-restricted, but they include items such as knives and solvents.

Is your wood sustainable?

At Champion we take our environmental responsibilities seriously and are careful to verify that our sources meet the highest standards. We use rigorous verification systems to monitor our supplies. We have Environmental Chain of Custody Certification for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)® and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). Our suppliers are also independently audited for the Responsible Purchasing Policy (RPP) of the Timber Trade Federation and Forests Forever.

Where do you get your timber from?

At Champion, we source our own timber, machine it ourselves and sell direct to you. By doing this, we control the quality and continuity of supply and offer the best quality at competitive prices. Other timber products we carry vast stocks of and a comprehensive range of are, timber decking, fencing, sheet materials, insulation, flooring, doors and timber buildings. We also stock a wide selection of timber related products such as power tools, ironmongery, adhesives, paint, and much more.

Which cards do you accept?

The cards we accept are listed at the bottom of the 'basket' page. We currently accept MasterCard and Visa debit & credit cards (including Visa Electron), as well as Delta, Maestro & Solo debit cards. We now also accept Paypal payments.

Will I be contacted before delivery?

Your order will be dispatched on or before the day shown on the checkout page. In the unlikley event there is any issue, we will contact you. You can of course also specify a delivery date that is convenient for you and we will do our very best to meet your needs.

Will my order include a sales receipt?

Yes, a sales receipt is enclosed with all orders prior to shipping.

Will the Delivery driver carry the goods inside my property?

Due to insurance guidelines, our drivers are unable to enter private residences. The recipient of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made, and for heavy and bulky items we would require additional support from the customer with the delivery.
