Flooring

We carry a range of hardwood and laminate flooring from renowned manufacturers as well as floorboards from our own stocks.

Champion Softwood Floorboards - Our floorboards are produced in Nordic Redwood Pine which has been chosen for its fine texture, warmth and character of grain that are lacking in other species, such as Whitewood Spruce.

Boards are produced with a square edge or tongued and grooved; both are 150mm nominal wide. These floorboards are intended as a sub-floor ie carpet etc laid over. However because of the attractive and pleasing grain, these boards do get used as a final floor. Where this is to be the case and if to be installed in a centrally heated room etc, to reduce the amount of shrinkage and distortion etc that may occur, we suggest the boards are gradually conditioned to the final heat of the room before fixing.

Tongued and grooved flooring grade chipboard Produced for use as a sub-floor, this minimum 700 density chipboard comes in sheets 2400mm x 600mm wide by 18mm and 22mm thick, in moisture resistant grade (P5).
