Are online prices the same as in a branch?

Yes, the prices of products on the website match the branch price.

 

What are 'nom' and 'fin' sizes?

Timber's nominal (nom) dimensions are larger than the actual standard dimensions of finished (fin) timber. Historically, the nominal dimensions were the size of the green (not dried), and rough (unfinished) boards that eventually became smaller finished timber through drying and planing (to smooth the wood).

Can I get a VAT receipt?

Each order is shipped with a sales receipt including VAT information.

 

Can my order be delivered to an alternative address?

Online orders can be delivered to an alternative address. Telephone orders can be delivered to an alternative address upon passing the relevant security checks.

 

Do the prices shown include VAT?

Prices can be displayed either including or excluding VAT using the toggle switch at the top right of any page.

 

Do you do free delivery?

If your order is within our designated area, we will deliver it for FREE subject to the order value exceeding £100 ex VAT.

For all other areas, we will apply a delivery charge all based on your postcode, which will be shown before checkout.

The delivery timescale for each item is shown on the product page. Stock items are available within 2 days, for other non-stocked items delivery timescales do vary. But we have shown the “worst” case, so in most cases, we will aim to deliver it sooner.

To confirm we deliver free to any postcode beginning with BR, CR, DA, EC, GU, KT, RH, SE, SM, SW, TW and WC

Selected postcodes we also deliver to for free are E1, E1W, E14, E77, E98, N1, N4-N7, N16, N19, NW1-NW6, NW8-NW11, SL4-SL5, TN1-TN4, TN7-TN11, TN13-TN16, W1-W14, W1A-W1W

Our drivers will assist customers with safe and reasonable requests to offload materials at the point of delivery. The recipient of the delivery is responsible for additional lifting once the delivery has been made, and for heavy and bulky items we would require additional support from the customer to complete the delivery. The driver has the final decision on what is safe and reasonable and if he decides it is unsafe or unreasonable our delivery will revert to kerbside only.  

 

Do you offer a discount on the trade?

Champion values bona fide Trade customers and offers discounts if registered as a Trade customer. These prices are only available once registered as a Trade customer, which you can do online and start receiving trade discounts immediately. But we will require some proof of your trade to continue to receive these discounts.

How is my information secured when using the Champion website?

The Champion website uses Opayo as our payment service provider (PSP), and thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to Opayo. It's our top priority to ensure that your customers' transaction data is kept secure at all times, which is why we comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) meeting the standard as a Level 1 PCI DSS compliant Payment Service Provider

I can't see the size of the door I require, do Champion offer other sizes?

Champion offers doors in the most popular sizes - and most doors can be trimmed by a small amount during fitting. If you require different sizes please contact any branch and we will be pleased to help you.

Is the full range of products that Champion sell available online?

There are currently over 5000 products available to order online, which represents our main sellers, but we sell much more, so if you do not see what you want online then please call any branch with your enquiry.

Where do you get your timber from?

At Champion, we source our own timber, machine it ourselves and sell it directly to you. By doing this, we control the quality and continuity of supply and offer the best quality at competitive prices. Other timber products we carry vast stocks of and a comprehensive range of are, timber decking, fencing, sheet materials, insulation, flooring, doors and timber buildings. We also stock a wide selection of timber-related products such as power tools, ironmongery, adhesives, paint, and much more.

 

Our timber products come from a variety of places all around the world, our Premier Planed Softwood is sourced from slow-grown Scandinavian Redwood resulting in outstanding quality that is admired amongst our customers. Our landscaping batten varies from Canadian Western Red Cedar to Siberian Larch!

 

Which cards do you accept?

The cards we accept are listed at the bottom of the 'basket' page. We currently accept MasterCard and Visa debit & credit cards (including Visa Electron), and Maestro debit cards.

 

Will I be contacted before delivery?

30 minutes before your order is due to arrive you will receive a text to notify you. Your order will be dispatched on or before the day shown on the checkout page. In the unlikely event, there is any issue, we will call you directly so please ensure you entered a valid phone number. You can of course also specify a delivery date that is convenient for you and we will do our very best to meet your needs.

 

Will my order include a sales receipt?

Yes, a sales receipt is enclosed with all orders prior to shipping.

 

Will the Delivery driver carry the goods inside my property?
