What is Sound Panel Plasterboard?

Sound Panel is a plasterboard designed for use in areas where sound reduction is of particular importance. Its high mass and tuned core help absorb sound energy, giving an enhanced acoustic performance to drywall systems. Sound Panel comprises a core of calcium sulphate dehydrates encase in the paper liner. Minor additives include starch, foaming agents and dispersants.
