About Our Millboard Decking Boards

Millboard’s composite decking is a new generation of innovative anti-slip & maintenance-free external flooring. It has many benefits including its beautiful looks and is as warm as natural timber. As the decking is virtually maintenance-free it keeps its great looks for many years and due to having no wood content, it will stand the test of time.

Why Millboard?

  • 25-year limited residential warranty
  • Designed to withstand heavy foot traffic
  • Offers the beauty and versatility of natural wood without the maintenance
  • Perfect for both domestic and commercial properties
  • The non-porous outer layer (essentially self-cleaning and leaving the rain to do the work)

What is Millboard Decking made from?

Millboard decking contains no timber or plastic, it is made completely from revolutionary Polyurethane resin, reinforced with mineral stone, and surfaced with a unique Lastane® coating. Conventional composite boards typically contain wood fibre, flour, rice husks and plastics, but Millboard uses stronger, more advanced materials that won’t rot, split or host algae.

Is Millboard sustainable?

Not a single tree is chopped down to produce Millboard. Millboard decking is designed and produced in the UK from a low-energy classed process and is, therefore, a sustainable choice in exterior decking.

Why buy Millboard from Champion Timber?

All Champion Timber branches are official Millboard 'Premier Distributors', a title only achieved from holding large stock and a range of Millboard products.

How many screws do you need per board?

You will need around 22 fixings for each length of Millboard decking for residential applications and 26 fixings for commercial applications.
