About Our Composite Decking

What is Composite Decking?

The term "composite" covers a broad range of products and product quality. Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) Decking is made up of Softwood or Hardwood chips bonding with plastic components. The chips can be either "uncapped" or "capped", the latter giving improved performance, reduced fading and movement. Other "composites" are moulded from recycled resins and the latest 4th generation polymer decking, manufactured from recycled plastic components, offers an extra dimension in stability, durability and adaptiveness. Components are usually fixed with hidden screws or clips, and offer a fantastic alternative to traditional softwood and hardwood.
