What is Chipboard?

Chipboard – also sometimes referred to as Particle Board or Low-Density Fibreboard – is made by mixing small wood particles with epoxy resin, which are pressed together under intense heat and pressure to produce a rigid board, typically with a smooth surface.

What does Champion Timber offer?

We have a range of chipboard for flooring applications and also a white covered chipboard ideal for shelving. Our chipboard is perfect for flooring applications, offering a moisture-resistant P5 grading that’s excellent for use in kitchens, bathrooms and extensions. You can also find white, melamine faced chipboard which is ideal for building shelving in kitchens or bedrooms.
